“Tales from the Twilight Café”

The CVRep Writers Studio presents its seventh annual “Tales from the Twilight Café,” a program of staged readings, in late June. The readings are held on the main stage at the new CVRep Playhouse in Cathedral City. Each year, the “Twilight Café” is the culmination of the studio’s season with a program that includes a variety of pieces in different forms that members have worked on throughout the year, presented in a “magazine-style” format. “Our Twilight Cafe is not meant to be a show in the conventional sense,” said Andy Harmon, director and head of the Writers Studio. “It’s an opportunity for audience members and writers alike to celebrate the act of writing and inspire each other’s creativity.” (Staged reading; drama; one acts; poetry; personal essays; stand-up comedy)
